About AI Edward
The rise of AI in education feels substantively different than prior ed-tech advancements. This is not a computer enabled intervention that can easily be passed to a CTO. AI is everywhere. Education leaders are confronting its use across their entire systems—from scheduling and finance to instruction and professional development. AI also stretches beyond the school walls to impact the very nature of work for which we are preparing our students. And AI has arrived closer to home—on our desktop and in our personal lives—changing how we learn, communicate and parent.

This rapid spread is both exciting and unsettling. An increasingly well-worn expression is that you shouldn’t worry about AI taking your job, you should worry about a human with AI taking your job. Education leaders can apply the same thinking to their systems—don’t worry about competing with AI, worry about competing with education systems that are effectively leveraging AI.
As you do, AI Edward can be your partner to ensure that you are navigating this constantly shifting context and mastering the
application of AI in education. We will sort through the mountains of content to deliver the most relevant and impactful news, opinions, resources, and capacity-building supports. We will also be talking with thought leaders, providers of AI-enabled products, and practitioners to share their journeys and insights with you.
It is an interesting and challenging time in education. AI Edward is here to give you the capacity and confidence to succeed in it.
